Buderim OSHC offers a fun and safe environment for primary-aged children located on the land of the Gubbi Gubbi people. We aim to build a home away from home environment, allowing children to feel nurtured and supported. We believe in giving children a sense of agency by guiding and encouraging individuality and taking a holistic approach to care. Our fantastic educators reflect our core philosophy - a dynamic and highly qualified team providing warm, accepting and nurturing care options for our families.
OPERATIONS
During the term, each weekday the service opens at 6 am and closes at 6 pm of an evening.
The Vacation Care program also follows those same opening and closing hours during holidays.
No two days at Buderim OSHC are the same, and each session is jam-packed with activities.
Whether it’s crafting, games or sports – OSHC is the perfect choice for keeping kids entertained, safe and happy.
The service is open to all primary school-aged children and has approval for Child Care Subsidy (CCS).
The service offers breakfast including a variety of cereals, toast and seasonal fruit as well as morning/afternoon tea.
PHILOSOPHY
Our Behaviour Support Process guides us. It is the foundation for fostering positive interactions and relationships, allowing individual children to feel valued while providing educators with the tools to be consistent, positive and fair.
We feel it is essential to expose children to many different environments and activities so they can establish their own identities. Our goal is to endorse everyday life skills along with promoting abilities, nurturing individuality and confidence through creative arts, nutrition and sustainability, outdoor education, STEM education, progressive programs and spontaneous activities.
Our educators will always positively show support and treat all children with kindness and understanding.

PRICING
During the term, OSHC operates every weekday from 6am until 6pm.

Before School Care: $28.00 (excluding CCS)
After School Care: $33.00 (excluding CCS)
After School Care Incursion: $43.00 (excluding CCS)
Please note, after 6 pm, a late fee will incur a $20 fee for the first 15 minutes and $1 per minute after that (per child).
During the school holiday periods, the Vacation Care programs operates Monday - Friday, from 6am until 6pm.
