Buderim Mountain State School Outside School Hours Care
BMSS Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) provides primary school aged children the opportunity to grow as they develop their social skills and to extend on the learning opportunities they have in school. At BMSS, our OSHC offers a combination of before school, after school and vacation care.
Our educators work with all children to create fun and recreational experiences that support children’s wellbeing, learning and personal development in line with accredited frameworks for school aged care in Australia.
Our teams pay attention to the needs and interests of each child and promote collaboration and active citizenship. They will support your child to socialise and develop friendships, set up recreational experiences which challenge them and educational experiences which extend upon their learning at home and school to help develop life skills.

Exceeding Standards
Buderim OSHC has undergone assessment by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA), the independent national authority that assists governments in administering the National Quality Framework for children's education and care. Assessment was completed according to the National Quality Standard (NQS), which sets a high national benchmark for early childhood education and care and outside school hours care services in Australia.
The NQS includes seven quality areas that are important outcomes for children. Services are assessed and rated by their regulatory authority against the NQS, and given a rating for each of the quality areas as well as an overall rating based on these results. At the last time of assessment, October 2023, Buderim OSHC was assessed as exceeding the NQS in all seven quality areas, indicating exceptional education and care.
